This was my third visit here. Last two visits were good that I came back again. As usual, I went to my favorite table in the bar area. My waitress was nice at first but after bringing out my food, she never came back to my table again to check on my burger or anything. My fries didn't get refilled. She walked by a couple of times but never stopped and asked if I needed anything. She simply brought my check after I was done. I was a little disappointed.

Our food was kinda slow and my burger was cold. The service was ok. The other more negative part of our experience was when two men sat next to our table and smoked thier very smelly e cigarettes. I have asthma and just dont like to smell that while im trying to eat. The men were also being loud and rude to the staff. A bartender decided being rude and mocking the men back was the best idea. The bartender and men continued throwing verbal taunts and swearing towards each other. So everyone forced to watch this big show. The men never were made to leave and they remaind loud till we left. I will not be coming back to this location. The employees did not handle or de-escalate the situation.

This place is really bad. Smoke/Pepper burger was nearly $15 and not worth that at all. This company has changed a lot of things and NOT for the better. People were nice but overall it was not worth it, you should go somewhere else entirely. This particular location is run down and not well run. Red Robin used to fun to go to, but not any more. Too bad

We had a party of 8 and arrived around 9 P.M. We were seated promptly because of the late hour. I always try to order something different than my signature burger but the Royal Red Robin burger is just too good to pass up. A burger patty, bacon, and an egg it doesn't get much better or fatter than that! My burger came out perfect but the fries were unfortunately cold. I immediately asked for a basket of fries to make up for the crummy fries I received. Our waiter was sadly very slow and hardly came around. Our table needed napkins and refills but he was no where to be found. By the time our fries came out we had nearly finished our burgers. The poor service deserves a 2 but the Royal Red Robin burger cooked perfectly medium deserves a 4. I will come back but probably not for some time.

I had lunch here today with a friend. We had a great experience. I would actually say our waiter Parker was the best waiter I've ever had the pleasure of being served by. He was very attentive & funny. We even spoke to the management about this young man. He made our day. The food was great also. RR has always been a favorite of mine. On a $43 dollar bill we tipped him $15 because he simply made our experience fabulous.

Red robin is a good place to go and talk to old friends, or be with the family. Their fries are delicious! (Always order some to snack on when they take your drink order) and the burgers are always produced to great standards! I appreciate the atmosphere, and will always recommend going to red robin any day of the week!

This Red Robin location can be hit or miss. I think often the kitchen works faster than the waitstaff. I don't see what's so difficult about getting and apps, then waiting a bit, then a salad or soup, if ordered, and, finally, entrees. I can't understand how any waitperson would let things come out pretty much within moments of each other. It's happened many times. If we order apps and then wait to order entrees, the waitperson is hovering and constantly asking for our order. We've had times the fries are cold in the middle. Not lukewarm, more like been in the freezer and cooked fast but not through, cold.

Red Robin! As far as Red Robins go, this place is what I've come to know and expect.

I honestly didn't expect a lot when our party of 7 (including 4 kids) showed up early Saturday evening for dinner at Red Robin. I couldn't have been more surprised - pleasantly I might add. It took a little while to get us seated, but once seated, the service was outstanding. Our server couldn't have been much out of high school if that. But his customer service was top notch. With 4 kids, you can't help but be a little high maintenance and he was more than happy to meet our every need with a smile and pleasant manner. The food was also outstanding. I had the Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich with cole slaw. I love how you can substitute a salad or cole slaw instead of fries for no extra charge. The fries are also unlimited - they bring you small portions (which is great); and if you want more just ask - they promptly bring you more fresh, hot fries. The margarita's were good too - more than just a mix, they did pack a punch! I don't know if all Red Robin's are this good, but this one really knows how to give great service, great food - and all on a very busy Saturday evening. I was very impressed and I don't impress easily. Great place for a family with kids - or without kids!

Sean was a great server. Very accommodating but not overly. Our food was delicious the kids always love to come to red robin it's a treat for us all! Kids cups with lids are genius! And the kids meals are very reasonable in price too!! We go to this Red Robin frequently, hey... its a kid favorite! We've also been served by Angeli and Denise. Both really great! and super accommodating! Denise, reminded the girls of a grandma type always making sure everyone was fed and happy. We just love it! A little loud but they keep the food coming pretty quickly. Most of the time the appetizers come within seconds of the main meal so you have a lot in front of you at the same time. But I love and live off appetizers, so we just snack on everything the whole time!

Yep. Most experienced wait staff, fastest in Federal Way, most energetic restaurant between Seattle & Tacoma hands down. The burgers are to die for & the salads are on point! This place will be around for a long time! I visit at least 6 times a month & love every minute of it!

When I'm in the mood for junk food this is where I go... The burgers are always flavorful and delicious - though you know they're bad for you, the fries are bottomless (and great with ranch or onion ring sauce), and the freckled lemonade is sweet and tangy. Yeah, it's a chain, but when food is done right, why does it matter? (Besides, there aren't very many options in Federal Way). The atmosphere is great, the service is friendly, and it's close to home. I try not to go very often, but once a week, I feel my RR craving coming on: the guacamole burger with sweet red onions...I LOVE it! :-D

It's a typical Red Robin but this one tends to be a bit busier than other ones for dinner.

Drivin to Alaska waiter forgot us not to busy, someone else after an hour brought us very cold food that had been up in the window a while, the bathrooms were blown bad. Usually go to Red Robins but not anymore..

Kelli provided absolutely fantastic service taking care of our large group of 13. She was speedy and attentive at fulfilling everyone's needs; refilling drinks, getting flatware, dipping sauces, and of course....more fries, please! As stated in another review, we were also seated near the kitchen and there was the occasional whiff of garbage/rotten meat....like when you toss your chicken packaging in the bin under the sink and don't take it out for a few days....like that. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals...I heard no complaints....I had the "Red's Nantucket Seafood Scatter"...fish, fried shrimp, and clam strips. I only got one small piece of fish, but it was good, the fried shrimp was good, but the clam strips had absolutely no flavor of clam....all I could taste was breading. Bottomless steak fries and strawberry lemonade can't have a stick shaken upon. Tried my mom's riblet...good sauce. A couple people at our table had the "flat on your beak" cocktail....red/pink in color and served in a hurricane glass....tasty and strong! 4 stars for the service...thank you!

I go to this Red Robin sometimes for lunch during work. The food is what you'd expect from a chain burger place and any other Red Robin you've ever eaten at. The service here is pretty speedy and the servers are quite attentive to drink levels, etc. The food comes out quick during lunch time and is always nice and hot. The best part? You can ask for fries before your meal comes so if you're starving you can get some before your meal comes. Who knew?

We used to go here every week for happy hour. They decided to quit offering happy hour and we decided to go elsewhere. Try Azteca right next door, Buffalo wild wings, etc. Lots of better choices nearby.

Didnt have to wait long. Server wasnt too nosey but checked often enough that we enjoyed our food, and he was funny. Prices were good. My hubby didnt get the food that he ordered though - so some other guy got his burger! We didnt bother to say anything cuz we didnt want the food wasted, so obviously it wasnt a big deal. I'd go back.

It is ok for a chain restraunt. If you want good burgers go to Burger Express in Federal Way! It is THE BEST and NO ONE can beat them!

  • Jeff H.

It's a Red Robin so you've probably eaten at one before. In summary, the food was typical, the service friendly, and attentive, though not exceptionally note worthy. Red Robin is one of those restaurants that you either love or hate, and I'm putting check marks in both categories. If you're looking for a decent burger for a fair price, you could do a lot worse. Glowing recommendation? Not really, but it is what it is.

  • Eddie R.

This is the worst Red Robin restaurant I have ever been to. Three times I came here to eat their burgers and three times I have left disappointed and feeling sick afterwards. The wait staff is too busy talking among themselves to actually do their job. I had to walk over to the bar and get my cup refilled because the waitress kept "forgetting" about it. I have been to many Red Robin restaurant and this is the worst by far. Stay away if you can help it. If you are looking for great burgers in the area, The RAM just opened up down the street near the movie theater. Go there for a quality burger.

Reliable, good burgers every time. You can't beat Red's Tavern Double for $6.99.

What can I say? It's a Red Robin - yummy. I haven't been in ages but I always get the Whiskey River Wrap (I LOVE wraps!), I paired that with a martini with a splash of cranberry juice! Lovely staff and service, we were there pretty early in the afternoon so there wasn't much of a crowd. Gotta love the bottomless fries!

Margaritas were great! My fiancee also enjoyed his blue ribbon burger. Unfortunately my sweet potato fries were clearly old (soggy, no flavor). French dip was ok - meat was flavored well but also tasted a bit old and the bread wasn't toasted so no flavor and didn't hold up when dipped in the au jus (the whole point of a french dip!).

We had like 3 servers trying to take our orders... And they didn't even bring us water when we got seated. We waited for like 20 minutes for our water... Then finally someone came and asked us what we would like to drink. We waited another 20 minutes for our drink... But since we waited to order our foods, we also ordered along with the drinks. The onion rings were delicious, my Teriyaki Chicken sandwich was delicious. The last person that served us was friendlier than the last servers. I understand it was busy, but Red Robins in Northgate mall are always busy, but they know how to organize well. I'm not going back to the Red Robin in Federal Way anymore.

I love burgers. It's the to-go food for every American, yet I usually don't order burgers at Red Robin. Up until recently, all I would ever order from Red Robin is the Buzzard Wings, and of course, their Fickle Lemonade. With the new addition of their Red Tavern Burger, I find myself ordering burgers again. Truth be told, the other burgers they offer are just too big for me to finish, but the portion size of their Red Tavern Burger is just right. With the addition of a strawberry milkshake and extra crispy fries, Red Robin provides that retro atmosphere with their saturated vintage art decor, bright lights, large booths, and red sticky seats. What more can you expect?

  • Jamie T.

Always a huge wait on busy nights. Service is fast only on slow days. When it is busy, service is slow and waiter keeps coming back to the table while eating, almost like they were trying to rush us out of there. Food was pretty good but drinks sucked. Overall it was just a so-so experience.

  • Elisa R.

This Red Robin must fly under the franchise management. The bar was a mess, bartender had a slice of pizza and an energy drink out and eating it at the bar. A manager was upset over a to-go order mess-up and was discussing the issue very loudly with the responsible employee. The discussion went on for about 25 minutes. It was a cluster. On the positive, a very helpful Waittress picked up the pieces, got us drinks and took our order. There are so many other options, including other Red Robins along the I-5, I will not be back.

Ate here a little while ago to take my Dad for an early Father's Day. He loves Red Robin. We decided to sit in the bar area and our drink orders were taken quickly. I ordered a Coke and my Dad got a coffee (which he said was good). He then had the fish & chips, as usual, and I had the chicken tortilla soup with a side of flat bread. Our server was nice and very attentive. The place wasn't too busy and I was glad because my Dad hates to wait. I'll be back again when I'm in the mood for some soup or maybe their bottomless steak fries :)

Fantastic. I came here yesterday with a group of 15 for a birthday party. At first we were going to conquer the bar but when we kept coming through the door (and without a reservation) the folks at the front desk hurried to push some tables together for us and we were seated in under 10 minutes. We had one waiter - Sean - the entire time, and he was amazing. We all ordered the silly cocktails and some apps and fries (I love those gorram bottomless fries) and we never noticed a wait. Our drinks came out fast and our food quickly. Sean took our separate checks without a single error, and he never broke a sweat with our huge group. As for the food: The cocktails (I had the red zombie thing) were a little sugary, but I expect that flavor at RR. It wasn't shy on rum though! I ordered the chicken caesar wrap for lunch and it was the perfect amount of food. The wrap was tasty, and the fries were just right. Good Job, Red Robin. You guys handled that impromptu birthday party like champs. And best of all: no singing! We never got a birthday choir of servers and waiters, and couldn't have been happier about it. Awesome. I very rarely stop in Fed Way for anything, but I will definitely keep this RR in mind next time I drive through.

It's probably just a personal thing. But I REALLY enjoy their burgers. Then again, I really only EVER get the SHROOM BURGER. If you love mushrooms and melted cheese, then trust me, get the shroom burger. I highly suggest getting it slightly pink (so the meat's still a bit tender) and to have it sliced in half (so it's easier to eat). Not to mention, the bottomless fries and a strawberry shake on the side on a sunny day? Man oh man. It's my triple R ("RED ROBIN RITUAL").

Usually Red Robins are pretty predictable, not today. We waited about 10 minutes to be seated, requested a booth for our 2 little kids, they attempted to seat us at a square table, a nice couple volunteered their table for us, it was nice if them. We ordered and requested some fries while we waited and waited, kids milk came, fries came. Still no drinks, finally got the drinks, drained the coke waited for our food, no refill, still eating. Started eating the whiskey river BBQ wrap. Tortilla was like eating rubber, kept waiting for someone to come check on us, nothing for 10 min- we saw the couple that moved for us with a partially eaten wrap too-same issue-rubbery. Finally asked some one to contact our server, asked about the food-he runs off to the kitchen before I could finish-the kitchen said it was fine. No response to my feedback or the neighbors food issue. and I still have an empty coke. I don't fault these guys but the should acknowledge my concerns. I left the plate in finished, never did get the coke refill and extra fries I requested for a refill. We will not be coming back here. Given it was a Sunday and they were reasonably busy. My wife's food on the other hand was good.

I generally enjoy red robin, however upon eating here a couple weeks ago we received horrible service from our server, we order an appetizer mozzarella sticks and it was served with our entrée intead of an appetizer, than the some of mozzarella sticks had no cheese in them, our server never refilled our drinks and finally I asked a bus person to get the manager as we literally only seen our server 3 times during our entire experience. When the manager finally came to our table we told him of our experience and he promptly refilled our drinks and gave us our mozzarella sticks at no charge. We will not be revisiting this location

Almost all previous visits here have been 2 stars but we actually had a good experience here yesterday. Had to go to Target and they are right next door. Big girl ordered the special which was a HUGE bacon cheeseburger for 6.99 (with unlimited fries) - it was delicious! Little one got kids burger, fries and milk. I got the terriyaki burger for $9 - it was quite tasty (love the grilled pineapple). Our waiter was great (Justin?) - he packed us up great to go containers but unfortunately RR doesn't travel well and was quite disgusting for dinner later (but he gets an A for effort). Should have just shared a meal with little one! Total with tip was $28 (we just had lemon water to drink). I usually end up paying around $50 for lunch by the time you add an app and a drink and am upset when I leave but not yesterday.

I've always loved Red Robin. Their gourmet burgers (try the banzai, the whiskey river bbq is pretty good too) and the bottomless fries are my favorite. Best onion rings I've had too. It's a great place for all ages and some good American food. I've never had anything outside of their burger and appetizer menu but I can definitely vouch for the two.

Went on Saturday and had 2 kids. We waited 10 minutes before anyone came over to greet and seat us. Once we got to our seat, took another 15 for someone to come and greet us at the table. From the sounds of it, two waiters seemed to think it was others table. Fun atmosphere but slow on service at the start. Once the waitress knew it was her table, service was great. Have been coming here for years so have to say it was just one of those days.

My friend & I recently went in here to have burgers for lunch....I must say this is the BEST Red Robin I've been to. It was extremely busy so we sat at the bar. Despite the volume of people here the bartender was very good - he was thorough & friendly. I will definitely come back!

The first thing when we walked in that we noticed was that the floor was sticky and nowhere near the bar or eating areas where you would expect the floor to become sticky. Our table happened to be just outside of the kitchen and I kept getting a whiff of something unclean. Because my girlfriend and I love red Robin she convinced me we should stick with it but sometimes the nose knows better. My burger was okay, I think high turnover doesn't give beef much of a chance to go bad at red robin. But the girlfriend had a chicken wrap and then vomited explosively a half hour after leaving the restaurant. Didn't quite make it to the side of the road. I really hope the staff reads this review. Please be cleaner. Your kitchen smells.

  • Dave C.

I've eaten and several Red Robins over the years -- and this one was the worst of the bunch. Imagine you order a hamburger. Without visually inspecting it (who does that?) I didn't know the patty had broken into three pieces. I picked it up and a hunk of patty went through the paper wrapper and straight onto my shirt. Bleh! The service was OK, but the food didn't taste nearly as good as the other Red Robins I've been to. If I'm this way again, I'd skip this place.

My fiancé and I had lunch here yesterday and it was delicious! Better presentation than the Lynnwood RR that I normally eat at. Our waiter, I believe his name was Jack, was super nice and stayed right on top of our drink orders. The spinach and artichoke dip was delicious and so were our Whiskey River chicken wraps. One star deduction for the neurotic and clueless manager who kept stopping the waitstaff to ask them questions he already had the answer to, which slowed down the flow for getting food and drinks on the table. I think he was trying to assert himself for some reason, because the staff seemed to function seamlessly without him. Also, even though we were only their second customer of the morning, they sat us right next to the super noisy kitchen.

This Red Robin is pretty typical of all the locations that I've eaten at over the years. The burger and salad we had were quite good, as were the sweet potato fries and the fresh brewed ice tea. Service was just fine too. With a Red Robin the food is usually pretty consistent and this location lived up to that - decent food at a reasonable price and that's the way it's been for 40+ years in my opinion. I look forward to my next visit.

Went for lunch last week. The place was empty when we arrived (11:00) and full when we left, so get there early for lunch! I had a chicken Caesar wrap. It was the same as you get at any other red robin. Less lettuce than others which was good for me. The tortilla was super tough which means that it was probably microwaved. Made it difficult to chew through without all the innards of the wrap spooging out. :(. I asked for a side of caesar so I could dip my wrap if I wanted. When the food was delivered no side was included so I asked the waitress. She said she had the cooks put extra in my wrap. ??? Why? That's not what I asked for. One of my companions got the chop burger. The bun fell apart, the meat fell apart and he was resigned to eat it with a knife and fork. My other companion has a BLT croissant and had no complaints. Waitress was attentive. Checked back often. As good as can be expected from a chain.

I'm a fan of Red Robin in general, but this Red Robin always seems to be strange in the service department the past few times I've eaten here. The servers seem stressed out at all times, even if the restaurant isn't very crowded. The restaurant itself consistently smells strongly of some kind of chemical, almost like the gross air fresheners in some public restrooms - you can really smell it if you sit at the bar. On the positive side, the food comes out quickly. I would prefer going to the Southcenter Red Robin than this one.

Red Robin. Those guys make it impossible to eat healthy. They do have a new Customizer on their website, Basically you can make your meal anyway you want it. But its time consuming trying to figure out what each item has in terms of calories/fat etc. I wish there was just a list. But you can definitely find some good things. Go for the whole wheat bun, grilled chicken, add some veggies on it to make it a full burger. Ditch most of the sauces (mayo, honey mustard), ditch the cheese and ditch the tortilla strips. Also for salad dressing, they do not have anything light. Even their balsamic vinaigrette had 200 calories and 15 grams of fat. For sides go for the steamed veggies or the melon wedges. :D I had the Jamaican Jerk chicken, only thing I had to remove was the cheese and the mango mayo. And replaced the fries with melon wedges. Bam, reasonably healthy dinner!

I think I'm being too generous with my rating here, but eh, whatevs. In high school, Red Robin was the hot spot. I guess times have changed. Don't get me wrong - RR is still a pretty popular place as they always have a wait - but the quality of food just isn't the same anymore. I don't know if it's me - I mean, it has been OVER 10 years since high school - or what, but the last couple of visits, I just found the food to be very mediocre. And it didn't come out fresh, either. What gives, RR? I do, however; love their bottomless fries and the fact that you can have a screaming toddler and no one really gives a rats arse.

Yummy burgers. Don't really trust the other stuff. I remember when I was younger, I had the Mac& Cheese from the kid's menu and it was only EASY MAC. Disgusting. Get basic or creative burgers. Any should be pretty good. Service is great also. All for mostly $8-$15 including bottomless fries.

Once you been to one Red Robin you've been to them all. Average burger place...of course we came here to cure our hangover munchies...needless to say it was a bit to soon to scarf down a greasy burger and fries. Service was okay, but the hostess seemed kind of bitchy or something...smile girl..even if its fake shoot!! Anyway average rating for an average place.

My girlfriend so wished that they still had their cheeseburger con queso. The deep fried jalapeno slices have a kick to them that water won't help with.Service was great for a Wednesday during the week, when the place is almost empty. Had three different waiters/waitresses at the beginning, was sure who exactly was our main person, but it didn't matter. All our food came like it was supposed too and quickly too.

We've been to Red Robins all over the country. Yum! This particular one has great servers. They offer to get the starving kiddos some fries before we order, they have been so good about making families feel at home, and they'll even replace a balloon if it gets away!

As far as comparing this RR to other ones. It's better than the average. But overall it's still an overpriced and overhyped burger place. The food is decent and they have a full bar but prices seem to be a little much.

I like Red Robin especially for their freckled lemonade :D The Bellevue and Southcenter locations however are better than this one. More mistakes happen here than at the other locations. The staff is usually very upbeat and friendly.

you know what? i think they have pretty good service at ANY Red Robin. and i am a sucker for the Royal Red Robin Burger (bacon & eggs on my burger??? YES PLEASE!) and bottomless steak fries. yum. the only reason i give four stars instead of five is cuz the only thing i've had here that's good is the burger and their salads. if you're not going to have a burger or a salad, don't bother.

I'm not so big on burgers myself, & this is mos-definately a burger gig. But if you are a big burger lover or if that just happends to fit your craving, then this is the place for you. There food is good & service is good. They have creative burger dishes and there frie spices they leave on the table are the best to go along with your fries! & it will fill your tummy very well for the cheap pricing of it.

basic corporate restaurant, mediocre service at lunch, disappointment to have to ask for drink refill or extra napkins, every Red Robin is pretty much the same, was given a gift card and was there with co workers, otherwise likely would not have gone, nothing exceptional for a $10 burger other than refill on fries.

Always, always, ALWAYS busy. Whenever I come here there is always a wait. I must be cursed or something... but at least the staff is always friendly, appear to be cleaned, smile a lot and are willing to have small chatty conversations with you, if you want. The food is pretty typical for a Red Robin but even though it's not their fault... the whole Franchise needs to stop with the dumb silver cylinder for the fries... it's just a pain to have to pull it off and then set aside. Just dump my fries on the plate and bring it to me. That means less hands are touching my food to have to shove them in the dumb thing. If you like your booze... skip this place. The drinks are SUPER OVER PRICED and super tiny!!! You're better of hitting up a real bar than trying to get your drink on here... I did like they automatically brought my party two extra plates of fries this time! That was great! I didn't have to wait an eternity for that to happen this time. So if you want Red Robin, come to this one and not the one in Auburn!

I can't believe how bad my experience here was. We came in at 9 on a Saturday with a party of 13. Big party no reservation, but slightly off hours. The had a table but needed us to wait for some reason. We could see the table and it was cleaned off. After being told it would be 30 minutes we waited OVER and hour before telling hem were going to leave and then immediately sat at the table that had been sitting there unused for an hour. We ordered our food, and service was slow. The milk shakes tasted as if they used powder (maybe the ice cream had sat too long)? Would not repeat. Worst RR experience I've had not that most were much to write home about.

I came when they were very busy and in the chaos the staff seemed to be lost. Not seating people in order fries were cold or tasted microwaved. Waitress was great and tried to accommodate us with new fries but the food was still just 2 stars at best. I love red Robin just not this location

Had dinner with my daughter. We were seated right way. That part was fine. I ordered a Teriakki Burger and was served a Teriakki chicken sandwich. I had a hard time flagging down our waitress once I realized. By the time my new burger came my daughter was completely finished with her dinner. They were slow. I tried to keep it a fun night so ordered some dessert for my daughter to have while I ate my dinner. It was only some cake, nothing they had to cook but they took so long bringing it I wS do e eating my new burger when it came. Very disappointed and will not be back.

Been here a few times now.. and while service can be hit or miss.. I still can't get myself to really like this chain either. I'm never impressed with their burgers. I think it's their buns that I'm not a fan of; which in turn for me.. makes me not like the burger itself. Their buns feel like they are flaky and end up falling apart, so ya.. total turn off. If I have a burger; especially while dining at a sit down restaurant, I want my burger bun to be substantial and to be able to hold up and not fall apart like their buns do here. Came here recently and while the other people I dined with got burgers.. I got a cup of French Onion soup. Their French onion soup was decent and it had gooey, melted provolone on top! It had plenty of onions inside and a nice beefy, oniony broth. As for service, we were greeted and seated right away, but I think the hostess was a bit clueless when it comes to the fine art of sitting diners. She basically ended up slamming our server with too many tables thus she was running around like a chicken with her head cut off. Our server did her best to handle the situation and given that she probably had one or two too many tables given to her, she stepped up to the plate. After we gave our orders I knew right away our server was slammed.. and we even overheard the manager telling the young hostess that she had given our server too many tables. I don't come here too often and when I do.. it's usually by someone else's suggestion. If you don't mind somewhat over-priced burgers and flaky, fall apart buns, you'll be fine. The plus side.. they do have bottomless steak fries, broccoli, and sweet potato fries with your burger.

Bad service . Our waitress didn't even ask for our drinks first . Her name was janette . Was rude and unprofessional . Two thumbs down. I'd fire her lol long story short - two big thumbs down. Don't wanna come there anymore.

First of all, you have to get in the building. If you have a wheelchair the only way you can see is to use the restaurant next door's curb cut. Then you get to the front steps. There appears to not be any ramp. You get some help and lift the chair up the steps. Then you go in. (Lots of nice customers help). You are inside!! A hostess asks how many? Two. But wait, there is steps to about 3/4th of the tables. Can we sit in the bar? The hostess explains that there is a ramp (dark and to the left side as you look from the parking lot). If you want into the bar or another lowered area, they will help you go back outside and through the exit doors to the area. Wow!! We get a seat in the main accessible area. It is such that the wheelchair sticks out and is about 24 inches from another customer's chair. Everyone has to go sideways by you. Luckily it is back close to the kitchen so not too many people are discouraged by the blockage. Good service, Excellent blue cheese burger (I can't remember the exact name), but it was hot, quick, good taste, and with the normal Red Robin quality fries. My wife had the Tavern Burger on a wheat bun with a salad, all of very good quality. Actually the buns were a little oily (slippery to the touch). The stars are for the food, If I would just rate the food and table service I would probably rate it a 5. Accessibilty and knowledge about accessing the restaurant is a zero. I hope the designer of the building is unemployed and I would like to see management spend some time in a wheelchair, and then train the staff. I have been to a lot of Red Robins but this layout is horrible. (I am from Oregon, and they have a wonderful location and layout at the Red Robin in Bend)

FREEZING. Could not enjoy lunch because it was so cold. They didn't cut the air conditioning even when nicely asked. Three of our tables were so cold. Even moved but it didn't help.

I have been here several times and the food is fairly on par with other red robin's however the service can be hit or miss depending on who you get, there is one bar tender in particular that while he is always nice is not very attentive and just to slow to work behind a bar.

My boss and I frequent this location often. The food is good, and the service is great. RR is always our first choice, because it's always fun to arrive and the bartender knows what we want. Thanks and keep it up guys!

Red Robin in Federal Way used to be our "go to" place, however something drastic has happened in the past 6-9 months. The service is more often than not terrible. Today we stopped in for a quick bite, the waiting area was full, we were told about 5 min. I then take time to look around, the restaurant is barely half full and there are 4 employees holding up the counter doing NOTHING to get the customers seated. We were only seated after I complained. We were were seated, the table was dirty! I asked to speak to the manager, and his only defense was that he had many new employees that lacked common sense. Well, common sense would tell me to FIRE them and start over! We will now make the longer drive to go to either Auburn or Des Moines if we need a Red Robin fix!

Great service & good food today! My hubby loves the Banzie Burger & always orders it! I like their newish smaller Tavern Double Burger. My son had a BBQ wrap. All were tasty & served with a smile! That plus the rewards program make it worthwhile to come back again soon!

This location is great!! My grandma had a very restrictive diet. The waitress was so sweet. She had the kitchen make something special just for grandma. She talked to her and checked if she needed more. We all got to have a nice meal because of the servers here. I'll come back any day.

Well I was pleasantly surprised when I asked for my burger to be served on a plate instead of the normal baskets. I hated to eat from those pesky baskets so thumbs up red Robin. Good jod. I had the chicken teriyaki burger and all was very good.

I remember when Red Robin had great burgers, salads, and fries. Now, you are lucky if you get a good meal. Even their fat fries are typically a disappointment. I don't know why I ever eat here, I am constantly disappointed. Cobb salad is horrible. You can get a better burger at any of the burger joints in FW. Their chicken strips are horrible. I can get better at Burger Express or The Ram. Their fries have gone downhill. I can usually get a few good ones in the bunch, but the majority are the reject fries that should be tossed and not served to customers.

The waitress Denise is a dream! We love her and always ask to sit in her area! Why God, why did RR change the salads? They are so gross. I miss the old perfectly delicious salads. If it's not broke, don't fix it! Wahhhh (that's be being a baby about the gross salads) Cheese sticks yummy. Burgers good. Campfire sauce is amazing.

Just like any other Red Robin, but the people at each location really make the place. Our server Denise was amazing! Not only did she tend to us like we were the only ones there, but she had also other tables to tend to in her section and it was a very busy night! I came in to redeem my birthday burger and she was very helpful in explaining what I can and cannot order. Which is helpful because I hate getting my hopes up and have my eye on something super tasty (I mean everything at Red Robin is deliciously consistent) then having to change because it's not part of the "deal". I order the Prime Chophouse burger and a raspberry limeade which was amazing! My Boyfriend orders the Whisky River BBQ chicken wrap and it looked good and my boyfriend enjoyed it as well! Anyway, back to Denise, at the end of our meal when she brings us the check, she asks if I would like a birthday sundae, singing optional. I opted for the sundae sans the singing. I'm 31 now and I don't want to make a huge spectacle of myself at a Red Robin. Denise, I want you to be my server again when I come back to your Red Robin! I have never, in my 31 years of eating at restaurants, ever been treated amazingly by any server! If I had more money to tip I would have. Thanks for making my birthday dinner very special! I'd totally come back and sit in her section when I'm in the area!

I went in after shopping last night. I have been seeing advertisements for the Crab Cake Burger and knew it was only available for a limited time, so I chose Red robin. I have always had good experiences with this chain. I even had a good experience a few years back at the same location. Anyways... Right away I noticed that sticky film that is present at "Dirty" restaurants. On the table, the salt shaker and the menu's. YUCK Second, I noticed all prices had gone up, no big deal if the quality of the food was worthy. My $14.95 Crab Cake Burger was mediocre, at best. I was so disappointed. I dipped what I did eat in the Spicy Thai (extra charge) dipping sauce to render it edible as I was starving. Our Freckled Lemonades were served in regular glassware instead of the cute glassware I've come accustomed to. Again, no big deal, but even they were watered down tasting. Dang. Our server was fabulous, she definitely tried. We did not complain. But I will not return. Ever. P.S. The bathroom door was sticky feeling as well, gross

Worst red robin experience ever. Ive frequented red robin from so cal to seattle. The team is usually happy, engaging, friendly and appeasing to the customer. Not this location. The hospo seems to be suffering from permanent resting bitch face and the manager never came by to see how our experience was. Im. Going to give the server the benifit of the doubt and say she could not here us order she kept saying "what" like it was in style even though it wasn't busy. Usually i could make substitutions and alterations to the menubn not here. Worst experience ever

Worst service for Togo. They hang up on you while they placed you on hold, I finally gotten my order taken after 3 tries calling back and now waited for over 25 minutes, and my food is still yet to be brought out. I only ordered a burger and fries, waitress said she will be right back with my check and I'm still waiting to pay. She never gave me a wait time on how long or if she checked on my food. 7:20 pm, so that the GM or whoever is reading this needs to train there waitresses better.

Not the best service. The food is great I will give them that. Have had a few too many wrong orders delivered to our table. Timing on getting things out can be better. I enjoy that atmosphere and it's family oriented. Keeps me returning for that reason.

Not bad. I haven't been to this location as much as the one in Bellevue, but it's about the same. I still enjoy their bottomless sweet potato fries, just didn't like how the first batch we got with our burgers here was cold, and I didn't get the onions I asked for on my burger, which would have made my burger just a little bit better. But the waiter we had was very friendly.

Let's start with the host. He was too busy talking to the other hostess and took over five minutes to say anything . But when an American family walks in he greats them and ask how many and so on . Then he's like how can I help you . No shit I need to get seated . Some people are so idk . I left . They are a chain and won't be losing any money from me .

  • Paul R.

We always try to sit in the bar as the service seems to be a bit more attentive especially when it comes to keeping the drinks fillled. It's first come first served so sometimes if there is a line for the dining area you can walk right through and find a seat wihout the wait. As to the food... they don't seem to mind special orders and carry gluten free buns which are few and far between for most other burger joints. If you are a frequent diner here it's worth it to sign up for their royalty club where you get a free meal on your birthday, $20.00 on your 6th visit and every 10th burger is free! The only issue I have is that they recently changed their salt and pepper shakers to those little grinding mills which can be a bit of a challenge for some of the older folks and/or those with arthritis. I'm not quite there yet myself but I've seen a few struggle with them.

This is probably the worse of all the Red Robbins in the area - at least half the time we have issues. Today - lets see where to begin. First they had one gentlemen handling at least 5 tables that just sat down - we had 6 people at ours - too many tables for him - they need to get someone at the front who knows how to space customers out. We got our orders and asked for our soup to come first. Finally I asked where our food is and he went and checked. - Everything came at once - the cold soup - the cold burgers - the cold mac and cheese, etc. I am guessing he was not doing his job and checking and the soup had been sitting up there for some time - followed by the food. I had him replace the soups - but we were now getting concerned about the time - took too long - so ate the cold food. Kids asked for refills on the Mac and Cheese and again waited and waited. I finally went up to the counter and asked the first server I saw - should I get our food that is sitting there or can you bring it. (Obviously she glared but brought it). Our table had no attention paid to it - how is the food, etc. No refills of drinks - anything we needed I had to flag down someone. At the end I talked to the manager and he took care of the bill - letting us know his store is #1 in the area - really - hard to believe. The manager did take care of the whole meal and - while we appreciated the free meal - we did not go our to get cold food for free. As I said this is not the first time this has happened. Usually we go to the Red Robbin in Auburn - 100% better managed.

I always like to try their new burgers, so I had the Holiday Turkey Burger. It was topped with sweet potato fries, cranberry sauce and bacon. The burger was juicy and tasty. We upgraded to garlic herb fries for $0.99 but there wasn't much garlic, herbs or cheese on it :(. They were really busy so the service was a little slow.

So my boyfriend and I usually really enjoy the other red robins that we have been too but this one just sucks. We've tried them a few times and there is always something wrong from bad service to issues with our meals. But the most recent experience we we're using there to go since we were given a gift card and wanted to get rid of it, we ordered fine and thought we ordered just two burgers and some mozzarella sticks but when I went to pick it up it turns out that the waitress that took our order added extra burgers to our meal so we had four burgers. Making my expected 25$ meal into a 45$ meal. On top of that they messed up the burgers that we really wanted and there was hair on the fries.

Went here last night with my buddy and were greeted with a smile and offered the restaurant or bar, we chose the bar. Went up there and were asked to pull out our IDs, but then she walked away and left them on the table for another 5 minutes. Came back and took our order. I ordered ice water and the California chicken burger extra pickles crispy patty, he got the a1 burger extra mayo with onion straws on the side and a strawberry lemonade. The cooks took a good half hour to prepare our meal. I was a little pissed. Our fries were slightly cold, the burgers were great aside from the fact that they forgot my pickles, and didn't put mayo or onion straws on his order. The waitress was sweet and apologized and brought us everything we needed. Overall it wasn't my best red robin experience, but the food did the job. Not sure if she heard me complaining but I was really pleased that the waitress came back and apologized, she sounded really sincere which is why I give them 3 stars.

This place is my go-to restaurant when I'm craving a burger and fries. The food is good but the customer service can do some improving. Every time I eat here with my girlfriend, the waitress will serve us our food and about five minutes later when me and my girlfriend are about to take our first bite, the waitress stops by to ask how the food is and never comes back until she hands us our check. This has happened almost every time I've visited. And I visit about a couple times a month. Considering I used to be a food server, here's a tip for red robin's waiters/waitresses: ask your customers how the food is AFTER they've taken a bite of their food. And check up on your customers when they're about half way finished! Also, I've noticed recently that if you have bottomless fries, they literally serve you about 5 fries each time. I'm still going to give it 3 stars because the burgers and fries are making me coming back!

Nice location and pretty reliable food. I know what to expect when coming here and its always a nice option when the wife and I can't decide on what to eat. I think this is one of the better chain restaurants in Federal Way and they are consistent in keeping the food and service good. We have gone here during all different hours of the day and even when its super packed, we usually can get a seat relatively fast. It really is a good option if you are shopping at the mall and don't feel like eating typical mall food, for sure makes it worth it to head across the parking lot.

Is there ZERO stars? This location has definitely declined over the past 6-7 years. Sometimes you get that RR craving, but we should know better than to come here. There's an issue 9 times out of 10. Bad service, not enough servers, "bottomless fries" is a term that's subject to interpretation at this location; they really act like it's a problem bringing you more fries. When they "get around to it" 10 minutes later, there's like 8-10 fries in the basket-really? The staff act like it's coming out of their pockets. Weak iced tea, over priced drinks, lame chicken strips; very small for $13.00!! and the place smells like a public bathroom when you walk in. The Auburn and Des Moines locations are slightly better. I do think their food is overpriced in general.

Ok so I decided to try out Red Robin again...we went to the Commons Mall Red Robin and this was a totally different experience! The waitress was amazing and the food was cooked perfectly. The whole ambiance was so different from the Des Moines one...which I now believe is where I had the bad service..I didn't know there was two of them so close to us(I am a bit new to this town) and apologize for that HUGE mistake, I will certainly double check my addresses next time. I highly recommend this Red Robin...all the people were happy there..the servers were chatty and highly efficient and made sure our eating experience was a good one!

THE WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!!!! 9/9 AT 9PM...... I sat at the bar and there was trash next to me the whole time....on both sides of me. The burger I order had microwaved bacon, the kind you buy that's already cook and you just throw into the microwave....yeah, that's correct. Shaking my Fucking Head!!!

I went to Red Robin for the first time in a few years on the 9th of May 2015. I received my birthday burger and placed an order for a medium size strawberry shake that was terrible. The milkshake wasn't completely blended. There were big chunks of strawberry while the rest of the shake was watery with chunks of ice cream. I've always enjoyed shakes at Red Robin but this wasn't smooth at all. There was no effort put into making this shake properly.

So, with this review I will add a photo. Let me first start it off by saying that good service goes a LONG way. Very, long way. We ordered an appetizer which was the fried zucchini and mozzarella sticks. They were pretty good. My spouse and son enjoyed their food and loved every bit of it. My son had mac and cheese and my spouse had the reds big tavern. I however was going to have a salad, but was won over when I saw the photo of the DGB burger. It sounded absolutely phenomenal. Fresh Arugula, garlic aioli and a nice angus beef patty. All on a ciabatta bun. Well... It was everything the photo showed besides the fact that it was completely raw in the middle. The outside however was VERY crunchy and burnt. I'm going to safely assume that it was made on a very high flame. Anyways, I tried to eat around the raw burger but couldn't do it. I ended up losing my appetite and hardly had any of my food at all. I ended up waiting for the waiter to come and take it away. I explained to him the situation, now here's where they got four stars. I know mistakes are made but when the manager himself comes by to apologize for the burger and explains how those patties are a lot more thicker than the regular burgers and are a little tricky to make. It was nice that he did that, but then he removed my burger from our bill, offered me something else on the house, which I didn't want because my appetite wasn't there anymore. So he proceeded to then to tell me that he will also take off 50% off the new bill. Which was our appetizer and my sons food and my hubby's food. Our bill was a total of 10$ I was shocked that they went out of their way to make me happy. It was nice that they admitted to their mistakes and did what they could to fix it. Not many places do this instead they just give you a small discount off your bill and send you on your way. And never apologize. I will be returning to this red Robbin, mostly because of the good service I was given. And if my burger was cooked fully I'm sure I would've loved it as much as the rest of my family loved their food.

I have loved Red Robin since I was a kid. Their steak fries and Bonzai burgers are a constant craving of mine. My husband and I love their food and it's one of our first choices for dining out. However, this has to be my least favorite location. It's regularly crowded and sitting in the bar dining area has proven to receive slow service for the most part. The last time we came in I ordered a salad and half of the ingredients were missing. It's a salad I order regularly so I certainly noticed, but the server/manager actually argued with me on what comes on the salad (read your menu, dummy). Also the service has been really bad in the dining area lately too. The stars of this restaurant are Marsha (I think that's her name. Asian lady who has worked there a long time and very sweet) and the hostess Rae, she makes me smile the instant I walk in and talks to me like we are best friends. Love her. Now that my husband and I realized we can buy frozen Red a Robin brand steak fries to make at home we have been coming less often, but I will always return for my beloved Bonzai Burger.

We were at this location on Saturday at around 5:00 p.m. for a late lunch/early dinner. While the manager and our waiter were very nice and helpful, this location felt sort of old, dated and kinda greasy. That said, I really liked the allergy-specific ordering program they have. (They bring you a tablet and you can see all the food available to you within your specific allergy. Its great!) I ordered a cheeseburger on a gluten-free bun, french fries and had to also oder soda as their water was really, really gross. My burger would have been really yummy had it not arrived burnt. But I was hungry and it wasn't horrible, so I just kept eating. It IS an older location, but you can tell they haven't changed/upgraded with the times decor/furnature-wise. I'll go back to Red Robin, just not this particular location. [Thank you to the manager for being so nice and helpful with the ordering.]

I do enjoy good food and Red Robin can serve it up. Of course it's not the healthiest of places to eat but they offer some good health conscious options. Unfortunately I don't go their for those, I go there for the fries and tasty burgers. I can appreciate the upgrade in presentation and burger choices, they have some great new flavors, including the new sauces available. While the new sauces are good, they are not worth paying the extra for them. This place works for us, especially when we can get a table in the bar. The service is efficient and fries never run out!

Red Robin is always a favorite. The Federal Way location is always busy, no matter what time or day. They are prepared for that and get you in and out. Food is always good and you can always know what you're getting. We always go back.

I am a regular here, and I have NEVER received such poor service from Red Robbins. We had a group of about 9 on a Sunday night. I expected a little bit of a wait but this was horrible... Our waiter was not rude or anything just un attentive and extremely slow. Here's the break down: Walked in at 8pm. We got seated within 10 minutes but it was about another 20 minutes after we sat down before Bill came over to say hello for the first time and take our drink orders. We asked if we could just make our orders as we had plenty of time to think about it. 30 minutes later.. Still no appetizers, food, drinks or even water for that matter! Had to go chase down a hostess and ask why it was taking so long. Couple minutes later, drinks and fries we asked for... Which were cold and pitiful. Imagine five fries per basket... Who does that?! 15 min later... Our food comes out: Mind you, that's over an hour since we sat down to get our food. The burgers which were ordered "no pink" medium came out burnt. Which I just don't feel comfortable sending food back. I had to flag him down for refreshment refills several times. I like RR... I'm a long time royal member. This was unusual. But regardless incredibly unacceptable. I don't know what was going on but it didn't seem busy enough for the kind of service we received.

Red Robin is a known quantity and this place is like any other one EXCEPT- whatever they use to clean the place is the same stuff they use to clean bathrooms. You walk in and it smells like, well a restaurant bathroom. Kind of a nasty mood-kill..

I'm so sad. We seated our self in the bar as the young male who greeted everyone ignored us, while chit chatting with two other female coworkers. So, without waiting I walked to the bar. Thank goodness for being old. Once there, no one greeted us or gave us menus, however, there was the bartender, two bussers, and two servers. I got up, walked to the host and asked for 2 menus. He asked why no one brought them to us. I bluntly stated "You ignored us while readily talking and we have no idea who's covering our section". We waited five minutes and still nothing. Then a gal came up and took our appetizer order and drinks and before I could finish ordering she ran off for another 5 minutes. Um... OK! I was so hungry and it was my birthday meal. I wasn't thrilled as this seems to be a continuous theme. I almost called over the manager. She mozied (spelling?) on back and asked if we were going to order anything else. I said I tried but she walked away. She said she was sorry busy running around. If you can't handle six tables, perhaps this isn't a good fit for a Friday evening in the bar as a server. Eh? The great thing, which I will give her credit for and giving her a tip when she was losing points at the beginning. She did refill my husbands drink, which made me happy and brought him fries just in case. That gave her brownie points and made up for the long wait and walking away while I was in mid order. I miss the top notch service. This location isn't as great as it used to be. :( However, it's far better than the those in Puyallup. I may have to find a new family restaurant. :(

Our family has been going to this location for years regularly and everything has been great until last Sunday. After having dinner there, me and my son got really bad food poisoning ( we both had the BLTA sandwich). I called the restaurant and asked to speak to the GM and when he got on the phone, he never introduced himself. I told him about the food poisoning and all he said was "Oh really?!? Well I guess I will take your name and number for insurance purposes." He just blew me off, no apology or assuring me that he will talk to kitchen staff about food safety..... NOTHING. After such poor customer service, they lost some very regular customers. So disappointed!
